With a plethora of onsite diagnostic tools, our capabilities are endless. We treat all small animals, including dogs, cats, birds, exotics, wildlife, and zoo animals and always welcome even the most challenging of cases.

All off-site lab testing is done at Antech Labs in Louisville, KY.

How will I know if my pet needs veterinary attention?

Please contact us soon if you notice that your pet is displaying any of the following signs of illness:

  • Diarrhea
  • Blood or mucus-filled stool
  • Straining to urinate
  • Constipation
  • Vomiting or dry heaving
  • Scooting
  • Lethargy
  • Change in appetite & thirst
  • Swelling
  • Limping
  • Immobility
  • Pacing & restlessness
  • Hiding
  • Behavior changes: unusual aggression or passiveness
  • Coughing
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Squinting, redness, or bulging eyes (this could constitute as a pet emergency, if your pet is experiencing this please call us immediately)
  • Open wounds
  • Pale gums
  • Drooling (especially in exotics)
  • Excessive eye or nose discharge
  • Foul smell coming from the mouth
  • Hair, feather, or scale loss
  • Seizures
